Local Pickup Instructions

Pick up time is weekdays only 3pm – 4:30pm weekdays only until further notice.  Note factory closes at 5pm and is closed on weekends and holidays.  Orders placed in the morning before noon will be ready for pick up next working day from 3pm – 4:30pm same day.   

You will see a colorful wall mural and a green loading door.  Ring the  doorbell on the side of the green loading door.  Someone will open the loading door and ask for your order confirmation.  They will put your order on the floor for you to pick up and promptly close the loading door.  Please verify order is correct asap.

Three Layer O Canada Mask?

Available now, Polypropylene Non-Woven Filters, sized to fit inside O Canada Masks.  Add this fitted Polypropylene Filter inside the mask's filter pocket to achieve a three layer mask.  Sold as pack of 10 filters.

Public Health Agency of Canada is now recommending Canadians choose three-layer non-medical masks with a filter layer to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  Fortunately, we anticipated the possible need for additional protection when we designed an integrated filter pocket into our original two layer masks.  When used together our two cotton layer O Canada Masks + the filter layer will achieve the total 3 layer mask structure to satisfy the latest Public Health Canada recommendation. 

As Canada's top doctor suggests, let not waste our existing masks:  "Tam stressed that Canadians currently using two-layered masks do not need to throw them in the trash, but should instead purchase a disposable filter to insert between the layers. "  Existing OCanadaMasks customers can keep using their favorite masks and add the filter layer to achieve a 3 layer mask.

Mask fit is also a very important factor in mask effectiveness according to Infectious disease specialist Dr. Brian Conway. "He stressed a two-layer mask is still effective if it fits as closely as possible against the face."  We have many customers commenting on how they love the fit of OCanadaMasks.  Many are repeat customers like yourself.

It is important for customers to have a choice in how they use their masks.  A 3 layer mask may offer more protection in certain situations but will be less breathable.  A 2 layer mask is more breathable and can still offer satisfactory protection.  Additional protection can be added in the filter pocket when necessary.  

These Polypropylene Non-Woven Filters are washable and re-useable.  Sold as pack of 10 filters.

How long will it take to get my Non-Medical Face Mask order?

All orders are shipped via Canada Post Standard Mail or Canada Post Parcel (has tracking) options.  Note that Canada Post does not pick up or deliver on weekends and holidays.

* Please be advised, all Canada Post delivery services are running much slower than normal due to COVID-19 pandemic!

We strive to pack and fulfill orders within 2 working days of receiving your order.  But please be patient with Canada Post delivery during this difficult COVID-19 period.

Will I get an order and shipment confirmation?

An order confirmation will automatically be send after you place your order.  Please check your Junk or SPAM folder as many customers found their order confirmation in these folders.

You will get a second notification once your order is fulfilled.  We strive to fulfill orders within 2 working days.  Again, please also check your Junk or SPAM folders for ship notification.

Surgical Face Mask Size -  8 x 3.75 inch, Pleats expand up to 6.5 inch

Adult Cup Face Mask Size - 10 x 6.5 inch (at widest points)

Do we sell filters? What can be used as a filter?

We now offer a Polypropylene Non-Woven Filter, sized to fit inside O Canada Masks.  Add this fitted Polypropylene Filter inside the mask's filter pocket to achieve a three layer mask.  Find in Accessories.

All of our face masks come with an integrated filter pocket between the two cotton layers for optimal, customizable protection.  

Cup Style Face Mask: filter pocket specifically designed to allow most disposable N95 style masks to be used as filter.

Surgical Style Face Mask: filter pocket specifically designed to allow a disposable surgical mask to be used as a filter.

Kids/ Small Adults Style Face Mask: filter pocket allows for household filters to be used.

Common household products such as paper coffee filter, paper towel, Kleenex and toilet paper are examples of effective filters that can also be use.  

Cotton vs Polypropylene?

Our Non-Medical reusable fabric face masks are made using 100% cotton fabrics. We have chosen to use cotton over polypropylene as it is more comfortable, breathable and usable. Polypropylene can makes for a good masks due to the fabric's properties but is uncomfortable against the skin during prolonged use.  Two layers of 100% cotton fabric for comfort plus our filter pocket feature gives O Canada Masks the best of both worlds.  

Where are these Reusable Face Masks made?

Our masks are designed and manufactured in Toronto, Canada.  Major input materials are sourced from Canadian fabric suppliers whenever possible.  We have been manufacturing apparel in Canada for over 25 years.

How do I wash my Reusable Face Mask?

Our fabric Face Masks are washer and dryer friendly. 

** Note, a few customers washed their mask with hand/body soap which resulted in some "bleeding" of the Red flag color into the white.  Turns out that hand soap or body soap or other scented soaps can have oils and these oils can cause breakdown of fabric dye resulting in the color bleed.   Hand/body soap often add essential oils to give the soap a pleasant fragrance which is good for selling soap.  Nice for hands + body, not good for washing fabrics.  Please wash your masks in normal laundry detergent and preferably cold or warm water to keep your Canadian Masks looking great!
